					Where you live:  Tucson AZI have always been attracted to printmaking, especially the flat, vibrant graphic colors that are possible with screen printing. My screen printing work has been influenced by Japanese woodblock printing, and the work of Matisse, Stuart Davis, Jim Flora and Keith  Herring.Media you work in:  Printmaking

					Artist Bio 
 
					Francis Morgan studied at Swansea College of Art then Newport College of Art and Design, Wales, where he learned screen printing from master screen printer, Haydn Pugh, and earned a degree in Graphic design. Francis spent ten years in London, ending up as Design Manager at BBC Educational Publications. 
					  
					He moved to the United States, where he held executive art and design positions with several west coast publishers. 
					  
					In 1989, Francis started a graphic design studio, Morgan-Cain & Associates. He designed several award-winning screen prints to promote the company, some of which are still in print. In 1999, Francis conceived and developed the popular educational websites Reading A-Z and Raz-Kids. After selling the educational websites in 2004, Francis has focused on screen printing and photography. He works from his home studio in Tucson, Arizona. 
					  
					In 2015, Francis was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from the University of Wales.  |
